Cooking Classes

My own culinary journey has been built on the foundation that the best ingredients simply prepared make the most delicious dishes. The best ingredients being the freshest, seasonal and most nutrient dense.

Inspired by my time at Ballymalloe Cookery School, each class offers a touchstone to reconnect students back to the land, whether that is picking vegetables from the garden, collecting scraps for the compost bins, or introducing guest farmers & teachers to share their stories and expertise.

Hands-on classes

During hands-on cooking classes I guide you through creating recipes and meals around the seasonal ingredients that I love. My approach is welcoming and lighthearted, offering tips and techniques throughout the class. At the culmination of each class students sit down together to enjoy their hard work.

Demonstration/Chef’s table classes

We invite you to go deeper… We all love to gather together around the fire to share food and stories. During our evening classes we’ll cook in our open kitchen and around the fire using the products of featured farmer and producer guests, demonstrating techniques in each dish. You’ll learn about their farming practices and soon discover the complexities of what makes their products so delicious as we gather around the table for a convivial feast.
